about

The second single off of our upcoming album ‘Feet To Stand On’. This song is a very personal, heart-on-the-sleeve experience about the desire to get better and overcome a particularly egregious obstacle so many people face, addiction. In light of that, all proceeds and sales from this track will go towards donations to Narcotics Anonymous.

A huge thank you to Noah Feldman, for the production of this song and by doing so, capturing an emotion and performance that I was unsure I would be able to get. I am pleased to say that no one could’ve done it better than you, my friend.

As stated, all proceeds and sales of this track go to Narcotics Anonymous

lyrics

Lyrics:

I know it may not be the brightest day outside
The storm is creeping in and there’s no space to hide
But the thing about a rainstorm is that it always ends
The sun is just behind us waiting to shine again

And all the songs that I can sing
If you don’t get better they won’t mean a thing
And I’m scared for you, I hope you know.
Won’t you pitch the poison, and come back home?

I know a day might come when we’ll thank each other.
I know a day might come when we both might not be around.
But I’d rather not lose you til later
I’d like to see you turn this around.

And all the songs that I can sing
If you don’t get better they won’t mean a thing
Well I’m scared for you, I hope you know.
Won’t you pitch the poison and come back home?

And all the songs that I can sing
If you don’t get better they won’t mean a thing
And I’m scared for you, I hope you know.
Won’t you pitch the poison and come back home?
